Three people have been arrested after a high-value theft in Cleveleys.
Officers were called to the North Promenade at 7.50pm yesterday (5th June) to a report that a car had been broken into.
Around £3,000 cash and 25 gold sovereign rings valued at £500 each had been taken.
Just before 8.30pm, officers from the Specialist Ops team stopped a VW Golf car on the M65 motorway, near to junction five at Blackburn.
A 38-year-old woman and two men, aged 24 and 46, were arrested on suspicion of theft from a vehicle.
