A Blackpool coach has been named Lancashire Coach of the year for the second time.
Ross Goodwin from Blackpool was named ‘Coach of the Year’ at the Active Lancashire Awards for the first time back in 2019.
At a recent event at the Winter Gardens he was named winner again, which marks the first time the award has been given to the same person twice.
“We’re a very supportive community and I’ve always said ‘you can’t be a great coach without a great team,'' said Ross.
''I see this award is more of a ‘team award’
“Blackpool is a great town with great coaches and great inspirational athletes.”
Ross is also a professional wrestler under the name of ‘Rossy Rascal’ and will be headlining at the PCW Mega Show in Blackpool later this year – an even which will be filmed for Sky TV.
