The final weekend of the Blackpool Cup takes place this Saturday and Sunday.
The event bringing thousands of people to Blackpool, as 350 youth football teams compete for a range of trophies at the new football pitches at Common Edge Road.
While work is continuing on Common Edge Road to build a junction to the new changing rooms, some special measures have been put in place to help traffic flow, including additional car parking, advanced warning signs, dedicated traffic marshals on site all weekend, and manually operating the traffic lights at School Road.
Some delays are expected, so spectators are asked to plan their journeys in advance, or use alternative routes where possible.
Parking for visitors is at a specially created area off Jepson Way, with no parking cones in place on Common Edge Road. If you are coming to the event, please do stick to the allocated parking areas.
