Blackpool’s Lightpool Festival begins today

The award-winning Lightpool Festival is back, lighting up the night for nine evenings from Friday 20 October to Saturday 28 October.

Enjoy a spectacular programme of light-based art installations, live performances, 3D projection shows and family-friendly activities.

From October 20, Blackpool will become an artistic playground, where outdoor spaces and iconic buildings will be enchanted with mesmerising light works.

Prepare to be amazed by a selection of gripping performances – from the carnival magic of Global Grooves, an explosion of dance, music and colour, to the Butterfly Ball with Silent Disco, new to this year’s Lightpool Festival.
