Welsh superstar mezzo soprano Katherine Jenkins OBE is to headline the 2023 Lytham Proms.
The classical superstar will be joined by two major West End names - Danny Mac and John Owen-Jones, for the concert in the grounds of historic Lytham Hall on Sunday, August 27.
Katherine Jenkins, who headlined the original Lytham Proms event back in 2011, has had 14 number one albums in her 20-year career.
Danny Mac, the former Hollyoaks star, has appeared in a number of lead roles in West End musicals including Legally Blonde, Sunset Boulevard and most recently Pretty Woman.
John Owen-Jones is a record-breaking West End and Broadway actor and singer best known for his performances as Jean Valjean in Les Misérables and as The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera.
The concert will also feature Wicked star Louise Dearman, Hamilton star Trevor Dion Nicholas and Classical Brit nominee Georgi Mottram.
Lytham Festival co-founder Peter Taylor said: “We are delighted to welcome Katherine back to Lytham. Our Last Night of the Proms concert is always an exciting occasion and for the last two years we have enjoyed staging this event in the wonderful surroundings of Lytham Hall.
“It is also a pleasure to see John return and we look forward to welcoming Danny, Louise, Trevor and Georgi. They are all incredibly talented individuals and we know this will be a very special evening in a magical setting.”
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Lytham Hall to go towards its ongoing restoration.
