Local bonfire and firework events

Here’s some places where you can find bonfire events and fireworks displays locally and a little further afield this year.

Friday (November 3)

Lancashire Fire & Rescue, Service Training Centre, West Way, Euxton – Charity Bonfire & Quiet Fireworks (to music). Gates open at 6pm. Search the event online for tickets.

Towneley Park, Burnley – Gates and funfair 6pm, bonfire 6:45pm, fireworks 7:15 & 8:15pm. £3.75 a ticket, group of £13.

Light Up Lancaster - A free family-festival of light and art, taking place in and around Lancaster. See the city as you’ve never seen it before. (Plus Saturday and Sunday)

Saturday (November 4)

Blackpool Pleasure Beach - Fireworks lit at approximately 9pm. As part of the seaside amusement park's late-night riding programme, enjoy a fireworks display to close the season in style. Pre-booking in advance is advised.

Duxbury Jubilee Park, Chorley -  Entry by donation. Gates 6pm. Fire lit 6.30pm Fireworks 7.15pm (approximate). All organised and put together by Red Bank Scout Group. Backed by a huge team of volunteers who bike the fire, service me food and drinks, also there is a professional size firework display fired by ex-members of the group.

Worden Park, Leyland - 6pm to 9pm. Tickets are £3 for adults in advance and £5 on the night.

Witton Country Park, Blackburn - From 5pm. Bonfire, Fireworks, Fun Fair and Live music. Bonfire 7:30pm Fireworks 8pm (Times are approximate)

Community Centre Playing Fields, Bolton-le-Sands - Saturday, November 4, from 6pm to 8.30pm. Tickets are £7 per person with pre-school children free

Clitheroe Castle - Saturday, November 4, from 5pm with bonfire lit at 6pm and fireworks following at 7pm. Google for where you can get tickets.

Ormskirk Cricket Club - Saturday, November 4, gates open from 4.40pm, bonfire lit 5.30pm, fireworks 7.30pm. Advance tickets guarantee entry from £5 for children and £20 for family ticket.

Sunday (November 5)

Cottam Hall, Poulton-le-Fylde - Bonfire lit at 7pm and fireworks to follow from 7.30pm. Tickets: Adult £4, child £3, family ticket £12

Preston Grasshoppers Rugby Football Club -  The Annual Preston Grasshoppers Rugby Football Club bonfire and fireworks display returns to the city this year for another memorable evening of family fun. There will also be food, drink and a funfair - great for kids and big kids alike! Price: £8.80 per person.

Staining Village, Queen Elizabeth playing field - Starting earlier at 2pm with the local's market and a firework display later. FREE to attend with fireworks at 6:30pm. Chain Lane, Staining. 

Blackpool Cricket Club (Stanley Park) - Gates Open 3.30pm. PAY ON THE DAY (No Advance Ticket Sales). Single Admission £5. Family Tickets £15 (2 Adults & 2 Children). Bonfire 6pm, fireworks 7pm.

Marine Hall Gardens, Fleetwood – 5-8pm. A fun filled evening concluding with a spectacular, musically choreographed fireworks display Free to attend.

Astley Park, Chorley - Arrival from 6.30pm, bonfire lit at 7pm and fireworks from 7.30pm. FREE entry.

Accrington Stanley FC (Wham Stadium) - From 5pm. Includes a funfair, face painting, live music and food and drink.
