There are some upcoming M55 closures as work continues on the new Preston Western Distributor Road.
The M55 overnight closures will be in both directions, including M6 southbound slip road.
In order for work to progress on the gantries the M55 will close in both directions from Monday 9th January to Friday 13th January.
The closures will take place between junctions 1-3 from 9pm - 6am.
- Blackpool Road and Riversway overnight closures:
Westbound only (Preston to Blackpool) - Monday 16th January - Friday 20th January between 9pm - 6am.
Eastbound only - (Blackpool to Preston) - Monday 23rd January - Friday 27th January between 9pm and 6am.
Motorists are advised to follow the diversion routes and plan your journey ahead.
