Burnley is celebrating a remarkable year of growth and development as a host of new businesses have chosen to open their doors in the town centre, marking a significant step forward in the vision to make Burnley a destination of choice for residents, visitors, and businesses alike.
The vibrant line-up of newcomers includes national and local names such as Taco Bell, The Coffee House, Bobo Panda, One Beyond and Winter Lotus Brew House, alongside the much-anticipated openings of Real Food Hall and roller skating rink, Picture Me Rollin, all bringing exciting new dining, retail, and leisure experiences to the heart of Burnley.

Burnley BID Project Manager, Laura Diffey said "It’s been an exciting year for Burnley, and we’re thrilled to see so many new businesses opening in our town centre. Each new opening enhances Burnley’s appeal as a thriving hub for shopping, dining and community life. Burnley BID has been instrumental in creating an environment where businesses feel confident to invest, and we look forward to continuing this positive momentum in 2025."
Among the new additions, there’s a shared sense of optimism about Burnley’s future. Moss Osuli at The Coffee House said "Opening in Burnley has been a fantastic experience for us. The town has a real buzz about it, and we’ve been warmly welcomed by the local community. We’re excited to be part of Burnley’s growing business landscape."
Echoing this sentiment, Mia Goddard of Real Food Hall and The Vault added: "Burnley is becoming a destination where innovative businesses can thrive. The town centre’s energy, combined with the BID’s commitment to improvement, made it the perfect place for us to bring our vision to life."
Since its inception in 2020, Burnley BID has been a driving force behind the town’s transformation. By generating significant new investment over its five-year term, the BID has spearheaded projects to enhance Burnley’s appeal and make the town centre a dynamic destination for businesses and the wider community. These projects include spring music festival, Burnley Live, the unique Burnley Vintage & Performance Car Show and most recently, the Burnley Believes Christmas Lights Switch On.
Burnley BID continues to deliver on its mission, guided by its business-led partnership and The Burnley Business Plan, aiming for a modern, vibrant and connected town centre. These initiatives focus on projects with the potential to drive real improvements and attract more visitors, shoppers, and investment to the town.
