The Sunday Session: A new platform for Lancashire’s local talent

Chorley is preparing to launch The Sunday Session, a brand-new live music event aimed at discovering and promoting local talent across the county.

The inaugural session is set to take place on Sunday, 2nd February 2025, starting at 2:30 PM.

This debut event will feature three outstanding local acts, offering audiences a diverse and exciting musical experience. Headlining the session is the welcome return of Silver Dogs, a folk-rock band renowned for their spirited performances. Joining them is Keneticus, a progressive rock band making waves with their dynamic sound, and Chorley's Hit Man and Hers Wiggy Clive alongside his band, The De-Coded. Also music from Silver Dogs promising a high-energy set to close out the afternoon.

Tickets are priced at just £10, granting access to all three performances. Attendees will also have the option to choose which act they are supporting, adding a personal touch to their concert experience. The organisers hope this flexibility will foster a deeper connection between performers and their audience.

The Sunday Session is more than just a music event—it’s the beginning of a broader initiative to showcase local performing arts. The organisers aim to turn the sessions into a regular feature, expanding beyond music to include dance, spoken word, and drama, providing a vital platform for artists across disciplines.

“Buy your ticket now and help keep performing arts alive in Lancashire,” said the event organisers. With local talent at its core, The Sunday Session is poised to become a cornerstone of the county’s cultural scene.

This event is in collaboration with Devel Creatives who specialises in developing and showcasing creative talent through tailored events and personalised support.

Tickets are available exclusively online, and fans are encouraged to secure theirs early to avoid missing out. The event promises an engaging afternoon of live entertainment and the opportunity to support Chorley’s thriving arts community.
